I-539 Approval

Cover Image

My client came into the U.S. on a B-1/B-2 visa. His B-1/B-2 visa was supposed to expire on June 15, 2023.

He wanted to spend more time with his family, inter alia. He reached out to my firm, and I gave him the available legal options.

Subsequently, my firm successfully represented him in two different cases.

In this case, rather than return to Nigeria for a new visa (F-2: his wife is on F-1), my firm filed an application for a change of status in the U.S., which allows him to stay in the U.S. longer than the initial date on his I-94. I explained the circumstances that triggered his decision. Today, the USCIS delivered this Approval Notice to my address, which I shared with my client. My client was super excited to hear the good news.

Congratulations to my client!
